First post here with my beginner's HDR attempt..

its not much of a difference, to be honest I like the first one better

you have to learn what shots should take hdr and what shouldn't

since the scene you were shooting was pretty well lit, hdr isnt needed.

my advice for this same spot would go back around sunset, when the sky is bright,

but the foreground is kind of dark.

i like the second one, its just that the grass are a little blown out

I like the second one better, almost the ideal HDR in my mind. The original is just too dull for me
