What yah guys think of this one, I worked kinda hard on it :S

Needs a little more contrast for more pop. I'm having a hard time telling if it is in focus. It looks soft on my screen.

Well FWIW I would still like to see a sharp version.

And I stand by bumping the contrast up also.

This is the critique thread, so its only my opinion. I do like the shot though.

I like the way it looks. I dont know why the "soft" look is so unpopular...

I think the soft look would look a bit better if the background was different. Well more different to the plant/flower. But I personally love the soft focus everywhere except it might be a little strong on the top left corner of the flower.

I have no problem with soft focus when used properly...I just dont' personally think it quite works here. Maybe it's my monitor, but it doesn't look soft focus to me, it looks out of focus.

I agree with Core. Also the point I made earlier was that unless you know that this is what was intended, to the average viewer it does just look out of focus.
But a lot of effort is clearly visible, keep it up as always friend.

#2 is superb !
it has it's own style and thats it, it was arty's intention.
