    As I waited in the mall parking lot for my wife the birds were coming in for the night. I think I like the black & white better for the starkness.

    I'm not up on bird identification, but I think they might be. It was on the news a couple weeks ago, they're a migratory bird that comes in, this is the first I've seen them. They have protected status but the state has had to authorize the wildlife department authority to thin their numbers because of the damage their roosting can cause.

    I like the photo and your mall parking lot has a much better view than the ones around here.

    The back lot borders a 300 acre swamp/lake preseve with islands connected by a nice boardwalk system. I really need to catch a day with decent weather and take a hike.

    Thank you. Yeah the B&W kind of hides the mess these rascals leave down below when they're roosting also LOL
