Whats a good brand? For getting the best pic results.
Lexar or SanDisk are the two I use - never had any problems with them.
Campact flash cards only store data, some are faster and higher quality(Build and reliability) but none will change the results of your pictures
i chose PNY because its relatively nonexpensive, build is great, and the write speed for the price can't be beat (22mbs).
i've always had a problem with sandisk writing too slow for me.
SanDisk Extreme III here. No problems yet.
What do you mean by writing?
make sure the dealer is reputable...there is a huge black-market for cf's.
have a good one
i actually had 1 problem with one of my extreme 3's all the pictures were only half there and the rest was all blue green red lines. my whole card was like that not one picture, then they didnt even show up on the camera. I have 5 2 gig cards and its perfect.
writing refers to the act of the camera "sending " the image to the card.
I use Sandisk & PNY. I still have my first Sandisk 1GB Ultra II, which is about three to four years old now, used heavily, and still not a problem.
I just bought an 8GB RiData x233 CF from Fry's for $30. I tested this card out today and all works great... so far. I will be taking pictures all week and transferring them to my computer daily. I'll update this post after a week or sooner if I have any problems.
