I uploaded an entry for a "intermediate contest" on worth1000 . com (toys)
I ended up 5 out of 42 or something so I get that the photo is good, but since no one commented i don't know why it was considered good.
So please help me out and tell me whats good (and bad) about the image, so i can improve

Hmmm... Well... the idea may be good, but the image does have a few technical issues, mainly relating to lighting. The use of a second light-source from camera right to even out the exposure would have greatly improved the image.

As-is, the wheel rims are so under-exposed as to be almost black, and the background, and top of the barrel is largely blown. You don't want to eliminate all the shadows, but definitely reduce them from their current level.
