    Until you got them...

Ace Camera in Loudoun is having a big sale. I want to stock up on a few things. I already bought a Gitzo tripod (80 bucks off!) and some extra CF cards (Extreme III) for a sale price plus an extra rebate... and I bought a remote.

Anything else I should snap up? I don't need to get crazy right now - I'm still a beginner.

Which books have you read? After all, everyone needs a library.

Maybe a monopod, or a small bag that'll just fit your camera & walkaround lens. (i have a huge tamrac expeditioni 7, so I enjoy a smaller bag sometimes)

    Filters....or an extra battery charger.

Lens hoods if you don't have them

Just ordered one of these... hope it's nice :)

  7. They're fabulous. It's nice that it says The Photo Forum on it, fine, but the Op-Tech strap is really the best and most versatile thing around for SLRs. You can also snap out hte large neck thing and just connect the two small ones to make a nice hand-strap for those shoots where you're not carrying the camera around your neck or on the shoulder...
