These Powershots ... they ARE good little cameras, aren't they?
And this WAS a very nice sunset. No doubt at all.
Love the grey clouds in the sky and the orange ball of the sun. Not the least bit white in its centre. Well done.
Thanks guys! No filter used. I took about 20 shots varying the exposures. I think I went like -1 stop or -1/2 a stop on this one then touched up a litttle in photo deluxe. I used the 10 sec timer function in each shot so as not to shake the camera when triggering.
LaPhoto/ Yes, I've been very happy with this little camera. The color is always dead on. All you have to do really is adjust the exposure a little here and there.
Here's a little shot I took swinging the camera to the right. I like the people sitting on the bank looking at the sunset and the sun glinting off the windows on the beach houses in the distance:
