I took a friend for a doctors appointment this morning, while waiting I drove around the nearby county hospital. I was trying to find something to shoot at, without much luck, when I came up to the entrance and the lobby atrium. Today was the first time I've been out with the new D40X, 18-55 G II ED. I kinda liked this picture for some reason. Maybe because it's the only one that was halfway decent.

I finally figured out where I was introducing noise and distortion to my pics. This one turned out pretty clean.....don't ya think. ron

Wonderfully clear, shadow-throwing weather for modern-architecture photography such as this one! Yes, I agree, it is quite clear. I am not too fond of the amount of dark orange on the left, but then I don't know what would have come into sight had you composed your photo differently by moving the camera a bit further over to your right?

I certainly appreciate the full inclusion of the reflection and shadows of the glass artrium on the wall on the right!!!
