this is of a womens prison near where i live
1).

this is of a lonly tree in a field that is half dead. how could i make this photo better?
2).

And this is a view on the way to my parents house.
3).

again please critique as i am always open to suggestions on how to get better at photography since a am brand spankin new at it.

I like what you tried with the first pic. The road is a little off center, but nice composition tho. I wonder how it would have looked with the building in focus rather than the trees?


The second may have been better if done at a different time of day, sunsetting or rising times.

The third is a nice shot that makes me wonder why I live in new york :lmao:

these shots were taken at thewrong time of day. If your going out shooting and it has tobe midday stay away from landscapes. The light does nothing for these shots,whereas at sunset/sunrise these same shots may be much nicer.
