TPF Noob!
Hi everyone,
I am new to your forum (have been quietly browsing and reading for the last few days, after being introduced by a fellow photographer, known as Xmetal on this forum)
I am very new to the world of photography (got into it a few months ago, after watching a friend of mine take some photos of my car). This meeting led into many long discussions with him, which increased my appetite for knowledge and practice.
I am the first to say that I have much to learn, but am keen and willing. My weapon of choice at this stage is a Sony DCSW5 (I bought this camera as I decided to buy something that had some manual configuration available, without a huge financial committment. I wanted to make sure that this newly found interest wasn't just a passing interest. But, I can firmly say now that is certaintly isn't). I will be saving up for a more professional camera soon (hopefully a Canon EOS 350D)
Here is a couple of my favorite photos, you will find more on my website's gallery (http://amir.id.au)

Thanks for looking :blushing:
