Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
This went around LJ a while back, and the results were rather amusing. Here is what you do:

1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random

The first article title on the page is the name of your band.

2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3

The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.

3. Open your iphoto or whatever you are using and

The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4. Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post the result here.

Have fun!

Parts 1, 2 & 4 are no problem. Unfortunately, part 3 breaks forum rules about posting photographs that were not taken yourself.

* You agree to only post images and/or other material to which you have exclusive copyright, or permission from the copyright holder that you are able to present to TPF Staff. Under no circumstances will any instance of copyright infringement be tolerated.

Kind of kills the idea a bit, as selecting your own shots removes the random element involved. Perhaps a different version where members have to interpret the words involved and come up with a suitable cover would work.

Oh and they really need to be constrained to a square 1:1 format if it's a CD cover, or maybe a 1:2 format if it's a front and back.

Yeah that kind of does defeat the purpose of randomness, do you know a website free of copyrights that generates random images?

I did it!
