Critique, please (Self-portrait, close up)

Hi, I wasn't sure which subsection to put this in. Please consider and critique this photograph; the title is "limitation of reason":

1st of all I'd say the the crop needs work. Mouth is basically cut off, too close to your right eye, etc. This was obviously shot in natural light which brings out good detail on the left side of your face, but the right is way to dark due to shadows. Try something different and post again. Thanks for sharing.

you have to retry, different angle, different light (and lower iso for lower noise)

I prefer this picture to be crop to a larger perspective - including the lips and chin. I agree with soul.glo...The left eye is OK but the right eye seems like 'bruise'.

Quite a strange title for what is essentially a very standard, but out of focus photograph of someone's eyes.

I would also suggest a wider angle on this one. But if you want to go with what you have i'd suggest you dodge the eyes and brighten it up. Here is a very quick edit.

You need to focus on the eyes as well, it seems focus landed on your forehead
