    When commenting on a photo, how does one make a judgement ??
    Is it the subject, the colour balance, in or partial focus, the amount of detail,
    or first impressions. Or all of these.

    Anyway what do you think of this one, a very strange plant called 'Celosia'

    in my opinion the background is distracting..try a smaller dof next time and maybe a tighter crop...i like the lighting though...if you are going to shoot it again try to keep the same time of day with the light at that angle

    I agree, tighter crop and less DOF.

    yeah I agree ... play with dof here, but the floral stuff like this is very interesting!

    Having looked again I agree, there is much too much backround detail
