The lighting was very harsh, but liked his pose.

I like the first one. The diagonal lines really convey a sense of movement, moving the eye towards the city in the distance.
The last one - good capture, but the colour of the grass because of the light looks a bit blown out - too green. You may consider fixing that on a photo editing program.
