I don't mind the crop (even the dead space above), I think it enhances that sense of the attack moving upwards. The one thing I wish is that all of the croc's mouth was in-frame. Having that lower corner nicked off kind of bugs me. Other than that little nit-pick, awesome shot!

the croc almost looks fake..

it was taken in australia on a "crocodile cruise". long poles with chunks of meat are dangled over the boat, the crocs can literally jump their entire bodies from the water to get to the food.

i'd like to say i was suddenly ambushed while on a nature trek and that i barely escaped with my life, but i'm a shitty liar.
