Hey! Dwig is expanding on my comments instead of correcting them; I feel shmart.
That was a cool read, Dwig, and thank you. I'll add something, regarding this:
In terms of angle-of-view, yes, but it's largely a moot point since the distance between the eyes limits our ability to use binocular cues to determine size, distance, relative position, etc. We can only use binocular cues within about a foot (eh...20cm...; I forget the exact number...not everything stuck very well from my psychology course) of one's eyes. After that, our brain is limited to using monocular cues.
