hi! I've some trouble with photoshop. (I have 7.0 version)
How to crop the picture and be sure that I constrain cropping proportions? I can easily do this with mask tool but not with cropping tool. and I dunno what to do with this. I'm sure there's such an option to constrain the photo proportions but I son't know where :)

Use the rectangular marquee tool, and in its' options, the toolbar at the top, set it to fixed size, or fixed aspect ratio, and then select your desired crop. When you have it lined up, go to image / crop.

You can also marquee around the entire image and then go Select>Transform Selection. This will give you the transform handles, but changes will only affect the marquee itself. Not the image.

Then, hold shift while changing the selection, move it into place and hit enter/return. After that you can use the crop command.
