    I'm a bit noob, but what is ND-X8 filters?

    nice xmetal!

    Foffen- ND filters are neitral density filters, they block out light so you can use a longer shutter speed then would otherwise be possible.

    It blocks all but 1/8 of available light out...in essence you lose 3 stops of light.
