First one lacks DOF for me -> I'd like to see that round thing in focus personally.

Like the second one, though the top LHS is a bit distracting.

Do you eat all the cakes you shoot ?

<---- same goes for me too :3 cant resist it!!

and i do agree about the first shot DOF and it needs to have better focusing
the second shot got some distraction from the end ( something red am not sure what it is )

I like your tea plates. I have the same ones! :)
Food is tuff to shoot. I havent got into it much yet but I will.
On the first the (blueberry?) would be nice in focus
on the seconed one The fork seems missplaced. Just (to me) seems like it doesnt fit the way its placed. would you use a fork to eat one?
1 is my fav with the nice color on the top of the cake. Well cooked and looks yummy!
