2. Nikkor 24-70 mm f/2.8
3. Nikkor 10.5 mm f/2.8 fisheye

a studio lighting kit of some sort.

I will take any of those in any order.

I fixed the price on the lens.
I was looking at monitors that currently will capture what I want to be able to do in regards to seeing the image/editing to be compatible with a good printer. The range I found was from $400-$$$$$$$$$$

Sounds like you may be sympathic towards my wish list....you going to help. ;)

I have an older bogen with a manfroto head. Can I use that for panning? Just wondering. It seems very easy to rotate and sturdy. Never thought to use a tripod to do panning. Maybe Ill use it next time I take moving car photos.

JFC. My lens wishlist alone is something like $46k. That doesn't even include tripod, gimbal head, camera bodies, or any computer gear.

I guess I'm just an expensive date.

Ohhhh this thread could get very... very long.... Very quickly! :lmao:

I'll play though!

Nikon D700 (or D3s heeehehehee)
Nikkor 24-70 2.8
Nikkor 135mm 2.0
Nikkor 105 mm 2.8 macro
Nikkor 70-200 2.8
Nikkor 85mm 1.4
Nikkor 24mm 1.4

Two continuous softbox lights

SB 900 with softbox diffuser

I'll leave it at that... for now:lol:

Lets have some fun then

Canon 5d MKII: just for this lens
Canon 1200mm/L USM: The Mother of all Telephotos | B&H Photo Video The Canon 1200/5.6L USM (priced at $120,000... and if you live out of state we don't need to charge you tax!) has been built on a special-order basis since 1993, and the ‘official word’ is there are "more than twelve, less than twenty" of them in existence.

Hey...this is my thread. :mrgreen::thumbup:

Some lenses for my Contax g2 and my mamiya 7II.

Jennifer Aniston's undying LOVE!
Nikon D4
Photoshop CS6 & Lightroom 4
Nikkor 24-200mm F2
Full studio
Four or five nice primes

All paid for with next Friday's winning lotto jackpot -- I'll need those numbers no later than Thursday afternoon, thank you.

Wish in one hand and $hit in the other. Which one weighs more?

Nothing wrong with wish lists. It provides a launch point for ideas. Have a goal instead.

1.Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro
2.Strobist Kit(2 light setup)
3.Canon EOS 50D
4.Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 USM(IS version if I can afford it)
5.Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 and a good tripod(will probably get a cheap one to use with my Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 soon)

That's all in the foreseeable future, in that order. Already ordered the Tamron. Throw in some studio stuff in there too. After that(say two, three years from now), probably something along these lines; depending on how my needs/wants change and how much money I make:

1.Canon EOS 7D
2.Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L
3.Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L
4.Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L
5.Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 IS USM II
7.??????
