That's the 1930s Blackpool Casino by the Modernist architect, Joseph Emberton, here showing off its white reinforced concrete curves against a deep blue January sky.

the curved edges really give it away that it's modernist. As for the photo, good contrst.

Thanks Sw1tchFX. I'm a big fan of this style of architecture, and there isn't too much of the good stuff in Britain. This isn't the greatest Modern Movement work, but it has some good parts to it. When you photograph them they cry out for a blue sky to set against the white concrete, and I was lucky to find one in cold January!
