Cyprus Fisherman (P'Shop Advice Please)

Hi all

Following on from the photos of the Cyprus coast, thought I'd add another of a fisherman doing his 'thang' down there.

As before, used an IXUS 55

The thing that attracted me about this location was the clarity in the water and I've tried to capture that.

This is the original:

I wanted to bring out the water without making it look messy.


This is the reworked example:

- 20% sat on the water
- Added a touch of blue and contrast.
- A little bit of red on the rock to bring it out
- Cropped to get rid of the 'boring water' at the top


I'm still not hugely happy with it. I'd be v interested to hear peoples' views regarding how best to p'shop this example.

I am not a photoshop expert at all, but what you have done with the water looks really good.

Water looks great... but the white on the fisherman is too blue. Not sure how to fix in ps but think it would look good if you could. I may just being waaayyy to picky! Sorry cant be more specific!

I see what you're saying. Might have a go at whitening it, better get out my Vanish or Persil!
