D40 lenses...

ok, im in the market for a new lens.

what i use it most for: automotive photography(car shows/features) bands, and random photography

im looking for a good mid zoom lens (ie 18-135) somewhere in that range with an aperture of 2.8 and looking to spend around 600, what would be the best lense for my money... and it doesnt have to be a 2.8 aperture, thats just prefered...

Search for the Topic "List of lenses for Nikon D40/D40x/D60" or something to that effect.
Pick out the ones that you think might work, and then look at their prices.

With Nikon, their 2.8's are usually quite expensive.
