D5300 built in microphone not working properly.

Since my last venture outdoors, recoding some videos, the built in microphone only records a white static noise. Or rather the noise is so loud no other audio comes through really. I have not bumped or dropped the camera. Any thought or information is appreciated, maybe someone have had the same issue or know of it?`

Below follows a link to a stream of a small video I made demonstrating the effect. I use an external mic for reference and then unplug it so you can hear the internal microphone. The text on the video is all in Swedish but I think you all get the gist.

Also, I contacted Nikon and all they could give me is "send it in" which I rather not do.
