D7000 battery grip. Is it real or a very good replica?

The problem can be easily fixed by buying a higher end camera that does not have a pop-up flash :D
...or someone should suggest to Nikon that they start producing lenses with flashes at the end of them ;)

It has been my experience that cheap knock offs will work fine until you really need them to work and then they will fall apart.

Looking at your flickr images. It looks legit to me.. of course, I can't feel the 'feel' of the buttons and wheels.

I have grips for my d200 and the finish is also slightly different from the finish of the camera and rubber isn't the same either. The wheels and button don't feel 'exactly' the same either. Not sure if the newer grips are different, but that's my Nikon grip experience.

my ebay knock off worked great on my D7000, even man-handling the Nikkor 70-200 VRII.

It worked so well I bought one for my big brothers's D7000 and he uses it with no issues to this day.
