D7200 question

Hopefully somebody here can help. I rented a d7200 to hold me over while the d750 is being fixed, and will be doing a review on the camera for a podcast/blog once I get a feel for the thing. I switched to back button focus right away, but can't figure out how to stop the shutter from trying to AF as well...super annoying! Anybody here know how to turn this off?
