    Shot this picture while fishing on the river in our backyard ;) Kinda liked the colors so thought it be fun to look at for you all. Comments and tips always welcome. :thumbup: It's not really a portret either, I don't know what else it is though:p :D [​IMG]

    Oh here's another thread where you havehad stacks of views yet no comments so looks like I have appointed myself the official no reply thread bumperer...;)

    You are right the colours in the sunset and the water are gorgeous, my only niggle is that its hard to see the guy properly. Maybe a little play in photo shop will fix that.

    actually I had the same thought. I can remember back from the days of strobe lights everywhere.. the people were lit up right nice and the backgrounds came through just like this one, so maybe a little fill flash would do the trick without changing the sunset.

    It looks like there might have been a bit of fill flash, just not enough. The sun in the background fooled the camera.

    She is right dodge would be the darkroom fix and the photo editor dodge would do it in digital.
