:D 6 years in the making and Dad finally got his Chevelle running. We're talking a total rebuild, frame, body and engine. He had me come over and attempt to get a few pictures of him doing burnouts. Thankfully, his neighbors enjoyed his car just as much as he does. He wanted to take it to more remote road but the car is not legal just yet. The sun was setting so the lighting was crappy. If the weather cooperates, Saturday we will try again during daylight hours, not dusk.

and the whole area was full of smoke and the smell of burning rubber.

And the best shot I could get of his car in the fading light. Using a flash only washed it out. Like I said, daylight hours this weekend and we will have better pictures. Cross your fingers for dry road on Saturday so that he could do another burnout.

ha ha, this one is a 69 with a 396 in it. And guess who gets the car? Not me but rather my 6 year old son - in about 12 years.

My dad used to have a '69 SS 396, too. He sold it when I was born, though :(.
