Many of these wonderful traditional stone barns are disappearing. Death usually comes in one of two ways - neglect leading to crumbling decay, or conversion into an "olde worlde" rural residence. I took this shot for the barns, the millstone grit walls, and the slanting morning light.

I want to crawl into my screen and thus into this scene.
I love it.
Just LOVE it.

I like that picture so much that I want to be there to observe it for myself... Great shot.

Thanks for the comments Corinna & Chris. The shot was taken this morning during a walk near the place where I grew up. The light was great - clouds rolled in later :(.

Regards, Tony

I really miss going for walks in countryside that looks like that. I spent the first twelve years of my life living in sussex and as a child used to walk the moors forever...Sigh. That shot brings it all home for me, Thanks!
