Dare I ask? Need a good P&S (near $100!)

A relative has a budget of around $100 for a P&S camera before she heads back to France.

There's a Kodak in the walmart ads for 89... but I've been steering her in the direction of the Canon Powershot A570 IS from B&H for $154.

Any other ideas?

my girlfriend has that powershot I'm pretty sure...either the 560 or the 570...

Either way...it's amazing some of the pictures she gets for being a total noob and not even caring about how to take good pictures.

I guess that's the essence of P+S. So ya...I'll agree with your suggestion.

I've never really liked Kodak cameras...every one I've had has stunk.
