I took a picture with a friend of mine and her baby. My friend has curly hair. Sadly, I am still working on getting my background right, but until then I have to graphicly fix things. I try to blur the background so that it is not so distracting, but when I get to her hair, it is such a pain!! Other than taking perfect pictures... what do you guys do to take care of the problem?
I use gimp. Thanks

can you make a mask in gimp? im more of a photoshop person

Yes, I am using a layer mask, but I am having problems with the fine detail with hair
