The weather was lovely today here in the Netherlands, so I wanted to do some gardening. I got distracted though by all the little crawlies who came out to see the sun. Here's a couple of them.

Here's a little squashbug basking in the sun:

    A very tiny hoverfly:

I was focusing on the faceted eyes, too bad I couldn't get the wings in focus though.

A nursery web spider (there were loads of them on a plant next to my pond):

    What do you think?

Nicely spotted finding the spider (it is a beaut) and the sheild bug, The composition on the hover fly is very nice, but the subject matter is a little overdone, that and bees and ladybirds, so that for me (Always looking at bug pics :) ) detracts a bit. but all excelent pictures.

hehehe, yeah I know, everyone shoots those lil' hoverflies. It was one of the first pics where I could capture the eyes sharply though :D so I thought to post it.

    Thanks for the nice critique!
