I have a question. Why is this image so god-damned perfect?

I keep looking for something wrong with it and the only thing I can think of is the pot in the back... but then I'm like no.. maybe it is better that its there.

The light snowfall over everything is great. so is the positioning of the plants. Excellent form, excellent composition...

But hah!! There's a little stick in the back right!! gotcha!!:048:

Yeah, dead.

I see you do your fall clean-up chores the same way I do.

To quote Monty Python, it's not "Dead" it's just resting.

Yeah, we got a few of those as well. Resting till spring.

It's progress, they are off the balcony.

Hey, winter came early; first week of October. Our winter firewood was half gone by the first official day of winter. Now there is little left. It was piled two rows deep five feet high from the far end of the porch up to the door on right of this pic. :(

Yes, I remember seeing the photo of the firewood. Got any dead trees to fell?

Not really but I have some firewood stacked in the yard that was for next winter; not sure how dry it would be yet. Thankfully the price of oil has come down as I see use burning plenty in the last of winter.
