OK anua, I went back today... the conditions weren't ideal, it was overcast and the light was nasty. I took the shots anyway and tried to breathe a little life back into them in PS anyway... this was one that came out well. And the bird is back It's not a great pic but it gives an idea of the colours I think.

I'm not sure to be honest.... It looks like it may have been an old block of flats or offices, at the moment it's waiting to be redeveloped. It is surrounded by 2 meter high fences to stop people from getting in so I can't get any close ups, I have to stand across the street and shoot
