Desperately need the name of this famous photographer!

Hey guys,

I need to buy someone a Christmas present today and I remembered a while ago they mentioned wanting a book by this photographer but I can't remember his name. Apparently he is very famous so I was hoping you guys could help me. One shot I remember was of a naked (Russian?) male dancer. I believe most of his stuff is in black and white and he has done a lot of pictures of skylines or cityscapes. Not a lot to go on but I was hoping you guys could save my ass!

Turns out it's Richard Avedon, which I guess shows how little I know about photographers. Peace out guys.

And now I need to desperately erase my history so none of my roommates see how many variations of "Naked Male Russian Ballet Dancer Famous" I searched.
