You have to get lucky now and then.
this is amazing.
her eyes speak volumes!
Shades of joh benet ramsey, she was one of the children's beauty contestants I did now and then back in the day. I am cleaning out my old negs and testing my new scanner. Hard to remember I used to do this kind of thing.
This is such a great shot. You actually just gave me an idea for a pose....Thanks for posting this one!
From that same time not sure it's the same girl though
Okay I put away that bag o negs thanks for indulging me...
I like your first pic very nice lighting and excellent direction from the photography
Like I said you got to get lucky now and then
I thought you didn't like shooting kids? You do it very nicely.
This is a timeless classic, mystery. The contrast in this beautiful B&W is just perfect. This is absolutely GREAT!
Now you are going to force me to tell you about the lights lol. I couldn't get the lights I wanted because the studio was so small. So I ended up building my own, Yes i have always tinkered. the light here comes from 5 guide number 56 strobes fired as a gang shot. There were set to bounce out of the space where the wall meets the ceiling. A board with white silk wrapped around it was the bounce material. It was mounted in the corner to angle the light across to the wall where my Rembranht backdrop hung. (I made that to). another of those stobes made the backlight. Very simple one front light nothing fancy, with a back light.
Oh yeah the power supply was a car batter charger. Sounds like junk but it never failed me and i was shooting film so I wouldn't have known till it was too late,
What I said was I didn't like to shoot kids, I never said I couldn't shoot them. Rofl
