DID I OVER SHARPEN

I've usually had people to tell me to zoom in to 100% when sharpening. You want to look for halos and do your best to avoid them. (a halo is an evident line of color around the edge of objects like faces)

Generally I find that with my camera I do an unsharp mask of 50-90%, radius 1.2 pixels, threshold 2.
 
I'd say that, IMO, it was a bit over-sharpened. There are a few "halos" in the image, and it generally looks quite obvious that you added sharpening. I guess the skill is to post-process your images to the point that they look better, but people can't tell you have PP'd them. I haven't found that margin yet :)
