Hey there,

I was just at salvation army and picked up this ikoflex kit for $75. Any idea on what it is worth? I am saving up for a hasselblad, and was hoping this could take a chunk out of it.

So I will try to describe what is in the bag, but I dont know much about this stuff...

From far left...

Kodak yellow filter in a kodak case.
Kodak 35mm metal film canister.
Remote shutter release.
Dujur Light meter and case
Sixtomat light meter and case
Zeiss Ikon clear filter w/ f=1m on the top of it.
Diamond gadg-it leather bag.
Kodapod camera mount with leather case. (quite rusty)
Full Heiland flash unit.
NOS tiffen lens shade.

Camera Details...

IIa
75mm 3.5 tessar lens
around the lens it says ZEISS IKON SYNCHRO m x COMPUR

Just found the original manual for the sixtomat and the camera.

You got an Ikoflex IIa 855-16, first production run was in 1953 and it was a re-designed IIa model, which was released initially in 1950.

The price you paid is a fair price, considering all the extras. You could get about $100 on eBay.

All that being said, there are other Ikoflexes on eBay for lots of money but they don't sell.

I'd use this camera before selling it!

You scored a fine picture-taker. And, it looks like a beauty!
