digicam user here from SoCal

hi all. new to the forum, not new to photography.

I've slowly weaned myself away from my Canon T70 and after having gone through several digicams (Kodak DC50, Panasonic, Nikon Coolpix 775)...I've finally settled on an older Sony DSC-D770 (early digital SLR).

if anyone is familiar with this camera, please let me know...would love to discuss its inner-workings with you.

I sure am glad to get back to manual exposure and manual focusing again.


any suggestions for a cheap non-dedicated flash (with bounce-head)?

Hello, and welcome.

I've got a Canon A-70, 3.2 megapixel with some manual controls. I've been told by an ancient film user that most of his magic came from the darkroom, and I'd better learn photoshop, so that's what I'm actively attempting now, but I'm also trying to fund a better digital!
