Hi All,

I have been researching the options to digitize my collection of negatives and slides and need some advice. The main one is the color slides. I have been looking into the different Plustek OpticFilm scanners but don't know which one is the best bang for the buck or if the infrared correction is worth the extra cash. These are the models:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3536720&CatId=297
Plustek OpticFilm 7200 ($199.99)
Plustek OpticFilm 7300 ($269.99)
Plustek OpticFilm 7500i SE ($369.99)

If anyone has used these or has other suggestions please help me out. I am very new to digitizing the slides so I am looking for the best bang for my buck. I would like to be able to print some of the slides in a larger format (8x10 or 11X14) if possible.

Thanks in advance!
Dave

I have the 7300 (I think the only difference between that and the 7200 is the sofware that comes with it).

It will easily do 8x10 or 11x14.

I haven't scanned any slides with it, but I've been getting good results with negatives.
