Vivitar 283 on ebay is about $35. Get a set of Cactus triggers for $30. That's something you can use for just about anything now.

You can find 70-200 f/2.8L IS lenses for as low as $1350 on POTN and Fred Miranda if you look hard enough. Be prepared to buy though. Those don't stick around long.

I haven't checked POTn but I am a member of fredmiranda, and check those multiple times per day, there are a couple decent deal non IS right now, but I'm going to see if I can find a better deal. When were UU date codes produced?
