This is not an uncommon photo so I kept wondering why I liked yours as much as I did.

Could it be that the ones I've seen before, the arms and hands are clean? In yours I get the feeling of someone really into it rather than just a posed photo for the green party

Unlike some, I like where the focus is and how narrow it is. When I first looked at it, I wanted the focus to be a bit further closer to us the viewers but then I decided that it would put too much emphasis on the dirt by making more of it in focus too. So, I think it works really nicely just the way it is.
