Discombobulated Rose

I am 16 and very new to photography. Here is a pic of a rose that I took, although I have created the black background in Photoshop and changed the colour a little. I am pleased with the result. My cam is a Canon Powershot G2.

Very interresting shot and textures although the color makes it look more like a cabbage than a rose. Still - I like!

I would love to see this rose in a rose's color. The photoshop work is good except for the unrealistic color. Restore the color and you'll have a winner.

Yes, I have had some mixed feelings about the colour, and I tend to agree, although it looked very nice when I had it printed out onto A3 size paper. Still, I will do a version in natural colour, and see what you think, Thanks.
