Distinguish Counterfeit / Fake Nikon Battery EN EL15

Here is the counterfeit Nikon Battery I bought online:

I paid $56, I bought it from an Australian based website very well known in Australia, I have reported them to consumer protection agency so I will leave there name off for now

Ok.. that is reasonable! It just always cracks me up when some people (not you) pay like $12 for a "Nikon" battery, and actually expect it to be real Nikon!! lol! I am sure know what I mean!

You are right about that, I avoid shopping from eBay or online shops that are based in China and eastern Europe for my Nikon camera however I thought the online stores that are based in Australia US or UK would have avoided selling counterfeit products but I guess the temptation for high margin and greed takes the better of them
