I figured I'd post some pics about it.

I work for Nav Canada, and work on various electronic radio equipment for aircraft navigation, communication, and surveillance.

I was recently in Clarendon NB, Canada working on a PAL (Peripheral Air Link) and had to go inspect the comm antenna's.

I took some pics while at it. Enjoy ;-)

Said tower I had to climb, 300 foot tall self support:

You need a NSFTWAFOH on the title of this post.

Cool shots.

Strange how it never looks that high up from the ground....

I can't say I miss walking tall iron, but the views were always spectacular.

Not Safe For Those With A Fear Of Heights

LOL!!!

That is hilarious.

Yeah we don't climb very often, but when I have to, I love it. It's so cool up there, especially self support towers, they don't sway side to side much (if at all).

Any comments on photo's?

the place is nice but im not somehow impressed with the captured

that really wasn't the goal. But I thought they came out nice enough.

Any particular reasons for not liking them?

If you are going to take the time to say you don't like them, at least take a few extra moments to say why or make constructive recommendations....

I loved these. Colors pretty good and the views are amazing.
Id freak if I were there.

Thank you sir. That is why I asked for specifics regarding his comments. I was pretty excited up there, and probably was not thinking "photo" so much, as fix the antenna, and survive.

Poopingfish, and everyone else, thank you for the kind words.

The first photo here shows some lovely, deep colours (mostly so the blue of the sky).
The second (and it's equivalent, i.e. "looking down") have nice converging lines which really lead the eyes!!! Up or ... aaargh: do-ho-hooooown!

The views are spectacular, of course!

And cannot help but love "... or die" - good sense of humour here!

Yeah I really like the whole set with the story. It was fun to read and view and I got a real sense of what it was like up there and because of it I almost had a facking heart attack. I hate heights, they almost paralyze me.
