Don't know what kind of reactions this question will get me but I'm curious to know: Do you buy official copies of Photoshop, Photomatix, ...? Or are you the download-and-crack type of person?

  3. As someone who has built software businesses, let me tell you: if you're stealing software, you're hurting good people, and small companies. If you're one of those people who like to complain about certain big companies, you better get in the habit of paying for code you use, or all you'll end up with large, unwieldy pieces of code from Cupertino, Redmond, or San Jose.

Don't steal, I know it's "cool" and "o.k. because everyone does it" but it robs people of work....

... but you've heard it all before, and wouldn't be asking the question the way you are if you didn't already know.

This forums doens't support software piracy, so I'm closing this thread.
