Does anybody know?

Hi Everyone,

Im new here. I ve read only a few posts. So, tell me am I in the right place?
Does anyone know how much a photographer is making in NYC and suburbs, working for a catalogue/publishing house? They do some advertising work about twice a month and keep in mind these are high end catalogues. And, oh, its in the jewerly business and this firm is pretty well known in the industry through out the US. I would appreciate if anyone knows the numbers. Thanx and happy shooting.

There are no set numbers. Pick a copy of The Photographers market to learn how to price yourself.

Well depends on the position you are looking at, for instance if you are a 3rd or 4th assistant you can expect about 200 a day thats pay for mopping picking up cig butts and doing tolets maybe youll get to hand the photographer a quick load.

Thank you for your replies. I will browse the Photographers Market handbook once again as soon as I spot a Barnes and Noble.
And if this Post remains alive, I will add that Im working full time at this place as the main photographer.
