Does this seem too good to be true?

I found this on ebay: Pentax zx-l

It includes a Pentax ZX L 35 mm SLR camera (with manual), a 70-300mm sigma zoom lens, a 28-80 takumar-f zoom lens, case, and strap.

I have a zx-m, which I like a lot so far, but I am frustrated not having AF -- those darn 3-year olds never sit still!

Starting bid is 190 -- new, the body alone goes for 199.
    Seems like an awesome deal.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    MM

I don't know about the body, but usually the label "Takumar" designates an older, manual focus lens.

Great! Thanks for the item number, I was able to check it out.

Yes, it's a good deal, if it stays around $200 to $250. The 70-300 lens is great, I own two of them (regular super macro and the apochromatic super macro) and both are fantastic.

Like ksmattfish said, I believe the Takumar is a manual, non auto-focus lens. Still a good deal, you can sell it and buy a 28-80 auto-focus power zoom.

Good luck and let us know if you won it. :D
