I'm having the hardest time with this job. I was hired by the owners of a local computer store. They just got a sign and wanted a photo of them and it to hang in the store, and for memmories. (They are very excited about the sign) I had the shoot booked 2 weeks in advance and even called them the day before to remind them I was coming. When I got there they were wearing sweatpants, stained shirts, socks, and sandels. Ugh.

They didn't want to do any fun poses and I couldn't have them do much because his stomach kept hanging out of his shirt. Then they tell me they wanted an exciting "Xtreme" photo. hmmm. I figured I would rely on editing to make the photo look better. Does this look good? Will they be happy? WHat would you do differantly??? I'm having the hardest time with this.

IMO, they kind of blend into the picture, which makes the sign stand out - which might be good? The processing that you have done on this image is amazing!

I think it looks great. They are nuts if they don't love it.

It looks like you did a good job with what you had to work with. It seems like they don't care, at all, what they look like so that's what they got. Being heavy is one thing, but dirty clothes...not something I'd want to advertise.

The one thing more that I might be temped to change would be the color/tone of her shirt. In the overall scheme of the image, it draws too much attention because it contrasts with the dark tones of the lower portion of the image. Maybe darken it down quite a bit, to closer match his.

For what you had to work with, I think you did an "Xtreme" job! (translation: great job! ;-))

Maybe mention something about choice of clothing to your clients before the shoot next time.

With what they were wearing, I would not want to see what they might have come up with for a photo on their own, had it not been for your photography skills. You should be very proud of this. :)

Gah! Okay I will not complain about the weddings I did anymore as far as difficulty. But you did an excellent job. Hey their sign is really cool. And you made it look so! Good job I like the editing!

Great photoshop work - interesting couple. Is there anything you can do to tone down the windows behind them? The reflection draws my attention a little as well. Also, what does it look like if you crop out the white socks and sandals, or even their bottom halves? (I know that probably doesn't follow the rules, and it may look worse -- just throwing it out as an idea.)
