Is there any way, or is there a standard setting, where I can find out exactly what sort of DOF I have at each F stop setting on my Nilon 30-70 Lens?

Great site thanks for the link

So that tells me the larger zoom will result in shallower DOF.

And also at 50mm there is only samll differences in DOF.

Mine has a distance for foucs point but doesn't tell you how much focus

So you can tell by looking at the focus ring the distance to the point of focus but not how many feet either side of that point will be in foucs.

If you have a chart for your camera/lens, it should tell you the DOF. From your point of focus, the DOF will extend 1/3 back toward you and 2\3 past the point of focus.
